004.???

it's 4 ish PM, i came from work and we're in the PC lab. i need divine intervention. maybe once i finish the "candle" i could pray for a better outcome.

update: it's 7:53PM now in the pc lab and without thinking about aesthetics i think i'm able to arrive to what i wanted to execute without the final touches and not knowing how to setup the parameter for slicer but i'm happy i have an idea on how to get to where i want to be. i think the top part needs some rethinking because it might fail to print. see below.

i keep adjusting the height of the candle and then i stopped and just focused on finishing to learn how to execute things. i have to strategically know when to cap lofted stuff because i won't be able to union the objects later on and also customize them with points on, and also when to subtract the shape of the "melted wax" to form the shape of the "missing candle". through some audioless youtube tutorials, i stuggled to find how to create the top part of concept but i stumble upon the patch feature and did an upside down version of it. i don't think that's how a melted candle should look like so i'm going to try to execute it at home tonight. prayers for my PC. AJA! fighting!!!

it's 8:19PM and i didn't leave yet but there's more problems i'm realizing, anyway, some progress:

update at 4:09AM
i'm thinking... what if i made an upside down loft just like my unfinished concepts for the castle and trim it with the patch? and have a huge melted wax on a side to support the dramatic melt from the top instead of just the ones around the "missing wax" of the candle?? i need to sleep now lol
