hello friend, this is one concept so far. will update soon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- update (9/20 4ishPM): i think i know how to execute them?? just need a sixth concept. the screenshot from above is the candle but instead of the candle, i want the melted wax around to shape the nonexisted wax in the middle and hopefully support the top. also hoping i could execute it over the weekend and make it look a little better and closer to what i had in mind. i just remembered that they don't have to represent something so i think i'm just going to play with rhino for my sixth one, it just helps my brain breathe a little to have something down and not worry about ideas flying away update: i'm working on one of the concepts: i didn't save it and my computer is not cooperating 😭 i was able to recover it but i need some time away from this and start the other concepts

hello friend, i am currently in the pc lab and i am about to start my "castle". i am glad that cheryl recognized me during my CCST class earlier in the week and we ended up talking about not knowing how to start our second assignment. i think one of the reasons that contributed to me not finishing the artstream program in 2022 was the way i was attending to my practice but i need to give myself some grace, it was my first time after all. shoutout to Kaz (from MADT, i think) who is in the room with me right now, at least i'm not alone. to be honest, i struggle to start because unlike the first assignment, this has no kind of prompt/brief, i don't have a reason for the season (what even is that, and from where did i hear this phrase?), all we were told to do (from what i understand and what my brain is telling me right now) is to create a "castle structure" using the new functions/commands/techniques we were shown in class earlier in the week. so as usual, i d...

hello friend, last night, after a 6hr shift at work, i headed to campus and started working on my voxel. all i could think of (that stuck with me on my OBDF class' first meeting) was that the expectation on working on your school work in ones personal time. about 4hrs is expected because 4hrs = class time.  knowing my tendencies, i decided that i must train my brain to start making it into a habit. (and like in on itself is a timer for me to actually do my projects in the day and simultaneously not drown from being too invested in the creative practice) does this platform have line spacing for writing a post? anyway... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello again, it's 09/10/2024 and this post has been procrastinated we already shown it to class over the teams meeting (i was 15mins late, btw) but i haven't finish this entry. i have put up my voxel  screenshots above so i'll be going over some process screenshots b...
